The aim of Strategy 2018 is to take the Volkswagen Group into the lead within the automotive industry. Despite the changed global economic situation, the objectives remain the same, namely: increased customer satisfaction, growth and return on investment, enhanced attractiveness as an employer and the first choice for university graduates and young academics.

Achieving these objectives calls for outstanding products that are developed, marketed and produced by a dedicated team with in-depth technical expertise. As part of a learning and teaching organisation, AutoUni - together with the specialist departments and selected universities - offers relevant training programmes for individual job families and as interdisciplinary measures, each with the goal of making employees the best in their particular area.

The events are designed to introduce and discuss current developments in science and industry. The aim is to further advance technical excellence within the job families and enable participants to apply the newly acquired know-how in their daily work.
